Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx has suggested on Twitter he is the most underrated bass player ever.

 

The Crue legend always carves out a piece of time for his fans on the social networking platform, responding to queries with the hashtag #asksixx. Even on the occasion that fans do not seek his attention through the tag, a few questions still capture the bassist's eye. The multi-platinum rocker, whose band has sold over 100 million records worldwide, weighed in, merely offering a one-word answer: "Me."

 

The group (in) famously boasts four iconic abilities and personalities, each making up an essential part of the formula that's uniquely Motley Crue. Nonetheless, it's Sixx that has been the band's primary songwriter, musically and much more so lyrically.
